Hundreds of volunteers will go door to door, seeking donations to ensure their slogan stays true, \u201cNo Child Without a Christmas.\u201d The volunteers will wear their red Goodfellows aprons, flip your porch light if you have a donation on and expect to see them knocking on your door anytime after 5:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"The Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation Igniting Healthcare Holiday 50\/50<\/a>\u00a0has kicked off its third annual lottery.<\/p>\n

Tickets are on sale now.\u00a0There will be a couple of Early Bird draws this week (December 2 & 4) worth $1,000.\u00a0The grand prize draw will take place on Tuesday, January 6th.<\/p>\n

This year’s lottery supports Mammography Services at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance (CKHA). Updated imaging technology will help improve early detection, reduce downtime, and decrease the need for repeat scans or follow-up procedures, while providing faster, clearer results that help patients feel more confident and supported throughout the screening process.<\/p>\n

In Canada, snow will be on the ground (or at least in the air) for Christmas week in Southern Ontario, Southern Quebec, the Prairies, and Southern British Columbia, as well as way up north in the Yukon and Northwest Territories.<\/p>\n

As for Christmas Day itself, Southwestern Ontario is on track for a White Christmas.<\/p>\n
