This is a free, self-guided event from 5 -9 p.m. bringing together local artists, cultural groups and businesses for a night of creativity and connection. Venues across downtown will feature artist talks, live music, interactive workshops, exhibitions, specialty menus and retail pop-ups. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Mainstreet Lounge at the Chatham Capitol Theatre<\/strong> will feature the live jazz trio of Doug Banwell, Andy Tattersall, and Peter Hyson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ARTspace<\/strong> is hosting the opening reception for a solo exhibition by Brian Hall, with live music by Wallaceburg-based multi-instrumentalist Qu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Turns and Tales Board Game Cafe<\/strong> will have a creative pop-up workshop with CutiePatootie Studios and hands-on crafting with Dabble Maker Space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RAD Studio + Cafe<\/strong> will have an artist demonstration by local potter Jackie Deane-Couture of From My Hands to Yours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Art & Heirloom Shoppe<\/strong> is celebrating over 58 local artists with live painting and demonstrations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Garden Event Centre<\/strong> is turning into Cupid on King, a Valentine’s Day space with live blues music by Snye River Blues, with Mark Giles Jr, Mitch Doxtater and Bryan McLellan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Crow City Coffee <\/strong>will have an exhibit by Artist Michaela Lucio, who will also be in attendance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Chatham-Kent Museum<\/strong> is hosting an exhibition by In Full Colour, while the Thames Art Gallery<\/strong> has an exhibition by artists Swapnaa Tamhane and Karen Kraven. There are also family-friendly activities in the Imagination Station<\/strong> and the newly opened ARTspark<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026<\/a> officially opens today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

JUNO and Grammy Award-winning singer\/songwriter Alessia Cara will be a part of the countdown to the Opening Ceremony at 1:30 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Opening Ceremony will begin at 2 p.m., you can wath on CBC, Sportsnet and TSN. Mariah Carey will be one of the performers and world-renowned tenor Andrea Bocelli. There will be a rich blend of music, art and Italian culture woven into the performances. Moguls skier Mika\u00ebl Kingsbury and ski crosser Marielle Thompson will carry the Canadian flag during the Opening Ceremony festivities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ceremony kicks off a Games with over 3,500 athletes from about 93 countries competing across 16 disciplines. This Opening Ceremony is unique because parts of the celebration will take place in multiple locations \u2014 not just Milan. While the core show is at San Siro, simultaneous athlete parades and celebrations will occur in Cortina d\u2019Ampezzo, Predazzo and Livigno to connect the city and mountain regions that co\u2011host the Games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IKEA<\/a> has introduced a new hot dog in the United Arab Emirates that’s nearly two feet long.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s called the “half-meter hot dog,” and it’s 20-inches long. They’re selling it for about $7. It comes with a bun, but it’s about half the size, so the hot dog sticks out of both sides, by a lot. You can add cheese, pickles, fried onions, and jalapenos. But that costs extra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IKEA hasn’t said if this hot dog is coming to locations in North America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
