If you use Microsoft Teams<\/a> at work, there’s a new feature is on the way that is scaring some people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The description says, “When users connect to their organization’s Wi-Fi, Teams will soon be able to automatically update their work location to reflect the building they’re working from. This feature will be off by default. Admins will decide whether to enable it and require end users to opt in.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sounds helpful, but only if you want your bosses and coworkers to always know where you are when you’re on site. It could allow some companies to track other things, like whether you’re late for work, or how long you’ve been at lunch, or whether you’re working from home when you’re supposed to be at the office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
