The 10th annual Hike for Hospice CK<\/a> is back to raise funds in support of Hospice residents and their families in Chatham-Kent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can go online<\/a> now to register or donate to a team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hike is at Mud Creek Trail May 3rd. If you can’t make that date, come anytime between April 27 and May 2 to get your hike in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Chatham Maroons<\/a> opened the Greater Ontario Hockey League (GOHL) Western Conference semi-final at home last night with a 3-2 win over the Stratford Warriors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chatham is on the road for Game 2 tonight in Stratford, puck drop at 7:30 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Maroons are back home for Game 3 on Thursday at Memorial Arena. The box office will open at 5:30 p.m. for tickets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A major chocolate theft is under investigation after Nestl\u00e9 reported a shipment of its Kit Kat bars missing in Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Approximately 12 tonnes \u2014 or more than 400-thousand chocolate bars \u2014 disappeared while being transported from Italy to Poland. The truck and its cargo have not been located.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Canada’s Music Awards – The Junos<\/a> were handed out in Hamilton last night.<\/p>\n\n\n

Tate McRae was a big winner. She took home four of the night\u2019s biggest prizes, including artist of the year, single of the year for \u201cSports Car\u201d and album of the year for \u201cSo Close To What,\u201d along with pop album of the year for the same project. McRae and Justin Bieber lead with six nominations each. Neither were at the awards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cameron Whitcomb took home Country Album of the Year and Breakthrough Artist of the Year. Toronto\u2019s The Beaches took home group of the year \u2014 marking the third year in a row they\u2019ve claimed the title.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rush opened the ceremony with their first performance at an awards show since 1978. They performed \u201cFinding My Way\u201d \u2014 the first song on their first album. It was the band\u2019s first live performance with new drummer Anika Nilles, filling in for Neil Peart, who died in 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
