Chatham-Kent is sending a 3 on 3 girls basketball team to the\u00a0International Children\u2019s Games\u00a0<\/a>in August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The International Children\u2019s Games is a global sports meet for kids from different cities around the world. They compete in a range of sports. The year the games are being held in Taiwan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The team is hosting a fundraiser Trivia Night at\u00a0Sons of Kent<\/a>\u00a0on tonight at 7 p.m. Registration opens at 6. Teams of 4-6 are welcome to come out for some trivia, fun and support of the basketball team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is home to the largest outdoor pool in all of Canada – and it opens for the season on Saturday. The pool can hold up to 1,000 people and has a diving board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Byng Island itself has a number of outdoor recreational activities you can enjoy, like hiking, cycling, fishing and more. Byng Island Conservation Area is in Haldimand, about a 3 hour drive from C-K.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
