Couple of farmers markets in C-K this weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Wallaceburg Farmers Market<\/a> is open 8 a.m.-noon in the municipal parking lot on James St. It runs bi-weekly until October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ridgetown will host a Farmers Market<\/a> Saturday 8-noon. The market will be held is Main St. every Saturday until Thanksgiving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can bring the kids out for a full day of fun at the Blenheim Children’s Fest on Saturday.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Taking place at Talbot Trail Place, the family-friendly event features a range of activities including crafts, music, face painting, interactive activities and vendors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event is free to attend however donations are accepted and takes place from 9 am – 2 pm. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Canada is set to make its Eurovision Song Contest debut next year.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The country will participate in the 2027 Eurovision Song Contest in Bulgaria. This marks the first time Canada will compete in the annual music spectacle and the first new country to join the contest in over a decade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More than 130 million viewers across 35 markets watched this year\u2019s Eurovision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking of Canadians on the world stage, the Team Canada men’s soccer team will play its first ever Round of 16 game at the FIFA World Cup this weekend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Canadians will face Morocco in Houston on Saturday. This will mark the second straight World Cup featuring a showdown between Canada and Morocco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No. 30 Canada advanced to the Round of 16 with a 1-0 win over South Africa. It was Canada’s first ever appearance in a World Cup knockout game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
