The Chatham-Kent Barnstormers<\/a> are hosting the Canadian Baseball League<\/a> All-Star Weekend this Saturday and Sunday at Fergie Jenkins Field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The two-day event includes a Home Run Derby, and Skills Competition on Saturday. The best of the CBL – All-Star Game is Sunday. Part of Tweedsmuir Ave will be closed for a free-family-friendly festival with food, entertainment and activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Canadian Tire Mitchell’s Bay Open<\/a> begins today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 12th annual bass tournament takes place today and tomorrow and is a live release bass tournament held on Lake St. Clair. Teams of two anglers compete for the highest weights and biggest fish over the two-day tournament. Organizers are planning for more than 80 boats on the water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The weigh-in begin at 3 p.m. daily at Mitchell\u2019s Bay Marine Park and spectators are welcome to come watch for free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
