Columbia House<\/a> will stop accepting new orders September 15th, ending more than seven decades in business. At its peak in the 1990s, Columbia House had about 16 million members and generated $1.4 billion in annual revenue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company stopped selling music years ago and has survived mainly as a DVD and Blu-ray retailer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
