The three-month outlook calls for normal fall conditions through September and October, including some chilly stretches and the potential for strong storms. But an ongoing El Ni\u00f1o could help keep winter at bay, with a drier pattern potentially developing later in the fall and continuing into November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Southwestern Ontario, the outlook suggests fewer storms overall, but meteorologists warn that when storms do develop, they could still pack a punch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Toronto International Film Festival<\/a> begins today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TIFF runs through September 20, with nearly 300 films screening at venues across Toronto. Fans can also catch red-carpet arrivals from designated viewing areas along King Street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And this weekend, Festival Street returns, with King Street West closed to traffic for live music, food trucks, outdoor movies and family activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Organizers are expecting nearly half a million people to take part in one of Toronto\u2019s biggest annual events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An Olympic women’s rematch is coming to Windsor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Team Canada Women’s Hockey Team will host the Americans in an exhibition game on October 28th at the WFCU Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s a rematch of February\u2019s Olympic gold-medal game, where the U.S. beat Canada in overtime. The game will be a warmup as both teams prepare for the 2026 Women\u2019s World Championship in Denmark. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
