It’s Household Hazardous Waste Day<\/a> at Veolia Environmental, at 141 Prosperity Way<\/a> from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Residents can safely dispose of household hazardous material at no charge. A list of acceptable material can found here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The last household hazardous waste day of 2026 is Tuesday, November 10th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Santa\u2019s been busy booking his trip to Chatham-Kent for the holiday season, with Christmas parades just weeks away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The festivities kick off in Wallaceburg on Saturday, November 21st, with the 57th annual Knights of Pythias parade at 6 p.m. Downtown Chatham and Tilbury follow November 27th, with the Blenheim and Wheatley parades December 5th. Ridgetown and Dresden are up next December 12th, before Thamesville wraps up the parade schedule on December 18th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
