To kick it off, come by on Saturday night for the first ever Museum After Dark 19+ event from 7-10pm. No cost or registration required, cash bar will be available. There will be a DJ, delicious food and drink in a dimmed glowing light atmosphere.<\/p>\n

The Worlds of the Night Exhibit was produced by The Sherbrooke Museum of Nature and Science.<\/p>\n

\"\"The Chatham-Kent Film Group<\/a>‘s monthly movie screening will be Monday at Chatham Galaxy Cinemas. Two showings at 4 and 7.<\/p>\n

\"\"The May movie is Wild Rose<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Tickets are available for $10 prior to each screening. Screenings begin promptly at 4 & 7 \u2013 please arrive early.<\/p>\n

Season pass holders must arrive at least 15 minutes early in order to claim their seat.<\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"\"\"The International Bank Note Society<\/a> has recognized the new Canadian $10 bill as the winner of the 2018 Bank Note of the Year Award.<\/p>\n

For the first time in nearly 15 years, a Canadian banknote has been named the best in the world. It was selected from a list of 15 finalists, including entries from Argentina, Armenia, Australia and Bolivia. Canada won the inaugural Bank Note of the Year competition in 2004 for the $20 bill.<\/p>\n

The bill features human rights icon Viola Desmond on its front and the exterior of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights on its back. Desmond is the first woman outside the Royal Family to be featured on Canadian currency.<\/p>\n

Until the release of the $10 bill, no Canadian banknote had ever had a vertical design. The Bank of Canada says it plans to release vertically oriented $5, $50 and $100 bills in the future. Those banknotes were last updated between 2011 and 2013.<\/p>\n

\"\"Ontario is going to look at raising speed limits across 400-series highways.<\/p>\n

\"\"The Transportation Minister<\/a> said they would collaborate with law enforcement officials and the public to see if \u201cthat\u2019s the path Ontarians want to go.\u201d Details on which highways would have increased speed limits, or exactly how high limits would increase have yet to be revealed.<\/p>\n

He also touched on looking at increasing fines for slow-moving drivers that travel in the left-hand lane, \u201cBecause when people drive dangerously slow, the safety of others is put at risk.”<\/p>\n
