Policyholders have the option of displaying their proof of insurance electronically, in addition to the paper \u201cpink card.\u201d<\/p>\n

The paper \u201cpink card\u201d will not be eliminated. The promise was made in the 2019 budget. The government said it is working to modernize auto insurance in the province.<\/p>\n

Drivers are responsible for ensuring their mobile device can properly display the proof of auto insurance, regardless of poor signal, drained batteries, or damaged screens.<\/p>\n

Ontario keeping its promise to put drivers first. Ontarians now have the option of showing their proof of auto insurance electronically.<\/p>\n
