Garth Brooks Nervous For Stadium Tour
November 2, 2018 10:58 amGarth Brooks has officially announced the first two dates on his upcoming Stadium Tour. While we knew the first show would be in St. Louis, the date is now set for Saturday, March 9th, followed by Glendale, AZ on Saturday, March 23rd.
Garth got his feet wet with his sold-out show at Notre Dame Stadium a couple weeks ago, but he said he’s pretty nervous about the leap up to stadiums:
“You know, I’m scared to death to play stadiums. I was scared to death to get out of the honky-tonks because I thought the arenas were too big…and now stadiums kinda scare you because you’re comfortable in the arenas. You’re always scared to death people are not going to show up, and then – when they do – you’re scared that they did show up. But it’s all the good kind of scared and fun.”
The Notre Dame show was filmed by CBS and will air on December 2nd at 8 p.m.
