Keith Urban Plays Show For Family
December 27, 2018 6:34 amKeith Urban played a free gig for a much smaller crowd than he’s used to on Sunday, December 23rd — his family holiday party! The singer posted a picture of himself singing.
Keith will be back in Nashville, however, in time to headline the Jack Daniels Music City Midnight Bash in Nashville on New Year’s Eve for the third time in a row. This year he’ll be joined by Peter Frampton, Judah & The Lion, Caitlyn Smith and the Fisk Jubilee Singers.
Keith said that while it may seem cliche, he runs the gamut of emotions every December 31st.
“Yeah, I go through every emotion on New Year’s Eve, every emotion – regret, remorse, melancholy, joy, hope, sadness, gratitude, calm, anxiety. (laughs) There’s a lot in that night for a lot of people. I’ve always been a big . . . I love New Year’s. Nic’s not a big New Year’s Eve person. I love New Year’s Eve. The counting down is important to me and I find it huge, that demarcation of time.”
The Jack Daniels Music City Midnight Bash is free and open to the public.
