FGL’s New Album Includes Duet With Jason Aldean
January 4, 2019 5:43 amFlorida Georgia Line’s new album, Can’t Say I Ain’t Country, will feature a few duets, among them one with their buddy Jason Aldean, called “Can’t Hide Red.” While Jason has recorded some songs co-written by FGL members Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley in the past, this is their first vocal collaboration.
Brian said that while the song was good to begin with, Jason’s contribution took it to another level.
“I just think it can’t come out soon enough. (Tyler) It’s a smash. (Brian) It’s a big ole smash and we had a really good time in the studio. That was one of the few collaborations that we’ve done where we were in the studio together and all there, and there was definitely magic in the room. It felt good kind of already but he brought the thing to life and I think we presented it in a way that’s different, that’s fresh, and it feels like a big ole anthem.”
Can’t Say I Ain’t Country also features a collaboration with Jason Derulo. The album will be released on February 15th.
