Kelsea Ballerini Is Having A Dream Week
April 18, 2019 8:45 amKelsea Ballerini is enjoying one of the biggest and busiest weeks of her career so far. On Tuesday, April 16th, she was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry, following the opening weekend of her very first headlining arena tour.
Kelsea said that her Miss Me More tour with special guest Brett Young marks a personal and professional milestone.
“Going from theaters — I did a theater tour last year — to arenas is a really big jump and I was really nervous cause I haven’t seen a girl do that in a long time and so when the first night sold out I was like, ‘Okay . . . this is the coolest thing ever.’ It’s really fulfilling to know that you can write these songs about how you feel and put a lot of work into it and people resonate with it and they connect with it enough to spend money on a ticket to come see it and the first weekend of the tour was like a dream.”
Kelsea will wrap this memorable week with a hometown show in Knoxville, TN.
