Midland Has Worked Some Terrible Jobs
August 30, 2019 5:30 amLike most artists with any amount of success, the guys in Midland have paid their dues and worked their share of terrible jobs.
To support themselves along the way, Cameron Duddy, Mark Wystrach and Jess Carson have tried their hand at all the typical employment opportunities and then some.
“Delivering phone books, any restaurant job. I mean all aspects of it up front, in the back . . . (Mark) Washing dishes, taking out garbage. (Cam) Yeah. (Jess) You know I spent my summers working in a Christmas tree field in the middle of nowhere. You can’t feel further away from the world than doing that, you know? So, we’ve all put in many, many hours doing . . . (Cam) Construction, carpentry, all that stuff, man.”
These days, you can catch Midland touring the country and promoting their brand new album, Let It Roll, which includes their latest single, “Mr. Lonely.”
