Blake Shelton Is Missing Adam Levine
September 19, 2019 10:16 amSeason 17 of The Voice debuts on Monday, September 23rd, minus longtime coach Adam Levine, and his good friend and fellow coach Blake Shelton is a little nervous about that.
“I gotta say that it worries me not having Adam there. It’s because he’s just been there from the beginning and it would freak me out if Carson (Daly) left, you know? We were the three that have been there all along and it’s just odd, to be honest with you. The one thing that makes it better and okay is that they brought Gwen (Stefani) in, you know, and it’s not just because Gwen and I’s relationship. It’s because she’s a veteran of that show also and she’s familiar with it and gets it, and that made me feel better, you know because there’s no way around it — it sucks not having Adam there.”
The Voice airs on Monday and Tuesday, September 24th on NBC at 8 p.m.
In addition to Blake and Gwen, Kelly Clarkson and John Legend will be seated in those giant red chairs this fall.
