Brooks & Dunn Enter Hall Of Fame
October 21, 2019 4:00 pmBrooks & Dunn, comedy singer Ray Stevens and producer and former label head Jerry Bradley were inducted into the prestigious Country Music Hall of Fame on Sunday, October 20th during the Hall’s annual medallion dinner held at the Hall of Fame.
Kix Brooks tells us that being a member of the Hall of Fame is the ultimate honour in Country music.
“For lack of any other better way to explain it, all of those awards that we’ve gotten are all ‘of the year.’ This is such a . . . you don’t know where it starts or where it ends or anything else. It’s just sort of the biggest thing that our industry has to say, ‘You did good and we’re recognizing you forever.'”
On hand to perform and honour the inductees were Luke Bryan, Reba McEntire, Trisha Yearwood, Ricky Skaggs, Marty Stuart and Travis Tritt.
