Lady A Honour The Military And Veterans
November 11, 2019 11:00 amLady Antebellum has entertained and connected with hundreds of our military men and women and our veterans throughout their career, and one unforgettable memory took place back in 2014 when they performed as part of the ABC-TV special, ACM Presents: An All-Star Salute to the Troops.
During their performance, they were joined on stage by some talented Marine Corps members, and backstage, the band, including Hillary Scott, were able to interact with even more current and former military members.
“One of the women, she gave me her bracelet in honour of her brother. She had lost her brother over in Afghanistan, and so, I mean, it was awesome to be able to connect with these men and women who protect us on a daily basis. And it just gives us even the smallest taste of what they walk with and have to live with, and the hurts and the highs and the lows of it every single day. It was awesome.”
Lady Antebellum will release their new album, Ocean, next Friday, November 15th. It features their current Top 10 single, “What If I Never Get Over You.”
