Little Big Town Tops Album Chart
January 28, 2020 9:57 amLittle Big Town takes the Number One spot on Billboard’s Country Albums chart with their latest release, Nightfall.
The project was released on January 17th and includes their Grammy-nominated single “The Daughters” and their current one, “Over Drinking.”
The album borrows its title from a song that Karen Fairchild co-wrote, but Phillip Sweet said that theme kept presenting itself throughout the project.
“The theme kept popping up, you know, and it had all these times of . . . You know, you experience so much at that time where night starts becoming . . . you start relaxing, you unwind, you can experience loneliness, you can experience love, nostalgia. All these things, it kept telling on itself in so many ways.”
In case you missed it, Little Big Town presented at the Grammy Awards on Sunday, January 26th with Smokey Robinson.
