Boots & Hearts And Big Sky Cancelled
May 4, 2020 4:44 amBoots and Hearts, Canada’s largest camping and country music festival, and the Big Sky Music Festival have been cancelled for 2020 due to COVID-19.
Boots and Hearts was scheduled to take place on August 6-9, while Big Sky was set to take place on July 18th, both at Burls Creek north of Toronto.
A statement that was posted online and on social media on Friday, May 1st said,
“The health and well-being of our fans, artists, staff, partners and the community is always our highest priority. The impact of COVID-19 remains a risk for all large-scale events in 2020. Despite our eagerness to continue with this season, it is with great sadness that we announce the cancellation of Boots and Hearts 2020. We are truly sorry we won’t be able to celebrate BootsLife with you this summer. We are already moving forward with planning for 2021 – the much-anticipated 10th anniversary! We are thrilled to announce Eric Church will be back next year as a 2021 headliner for an unforgettable summer.”
All 2020 festival passes will be honoured for Boots 2021, and credits will be given. Plus all camping and parking passes can be carried over for 2021 as well. Full refunds are also available.
