Jason Aldean Not Planning To Retire Anytime Soon
June 18, 2020 6:09 amJason Aldean has pretty much checked the boxes on his list of professional goals, but he has no designs on retiring anytime soon.
He said it’s the fans and the thrill of live performance that keeps him wanting to stay in the game.
“You know, I didn’t get into this to get famous or make a lot of money or whatever. When I first started this it was because I love playing music and it was fun. Then I found out that I was not bad at it, you know, and that kind of turned into what its become. I guess it would be easy to kind of walk away and not ever have to mess with it again or whatever but that doesn’t seem very fun either (laughs), you know what I mean, so I like to see people’s excitement when we show up to play a show and that’s the cool part of it for me.”
Jason’s summer We Back Tour was cancelled due to the global pandemic. He has not announced tour plans yet for 2021.
Meanwhile, Jason and his family just moved into an expansive brand new home two-years in the making just outside of Nashville.
