Country Stars To Pay Tribute To Charley Pride
August 24, 2021 7:00 pmLuke Combs, Garth Brooks, Reba McEntire, and Gladys Knight are among the artists paying homage to the late Charley Pride in an upcoming CMT Giants concert special slated to air on the cable network on Wednesday, August 25th at 8 p.m.
The 90-minute special will also include a performance from Darius Rucker, who sings Charley’s number one hit from 1978, “Someone Loves You Honey”.
Alan Jackson, Darius Rucker, Jimmie Allen, Mickey Guyton and Texas Rangers legend Nolan Ryan are also set to appear or perform.
Charley died from Covid complications in December at the age of 86.
