Country JUNO Awards Nominees
March 2, 2022 11:00 amThe nominees for the 51st Annual JUNO Awards were announced on Tuesday, March 1st by The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS).
This year’s winners will be revealed during the closing weekend of JUNO Week, at The JUNO Opening Night Awards Presented by Ontario Creates on Saturday, May 14th and The JUNO Awards Broadcast on Sunday, May 15th.
When it comes to country artists Brett Kissel and The Reklaws lead the way with two nominations each.
Brett is up for Single of the Year for “Make a Life, Not a Living” and for Country Album of the Year for “What Is Life?”
The Reklaws are up for Group of the Year, and Country Album of the Year for “Sophmore Slump.”
The other nominees for Country Album of the Year include Dean Brody for “Boys,” Tenille Arts for “Girl To Girl,” and Tim Hicks for “Campfire Troubadour.”
