Blake Shelton’s Mom Inspired Four Hallmark Christmas Movies
April 11, 2022 7:00 pmBlake Shelton’s “Time for Me to Come Home” was co-written by his mom, Dorothy Shackleford, and she sings on it too.
That song ended up getting Dorothy a book deal where she was partnered up with a guy named Travis Thrasher, and they co-wrote the novel, “Time for Me to Come Home for Christmas”.
Hallmark Channel then came calling and they made a movie out of it in 2018, also called, “Time for Me to Come Home for Christmas”.
And they were just getting started.
“Time for You to Come Home for Christmas” came out in 2019, “Time for Us to Come Home for Christmas” in 2020, and “Time for Them to Come Home for Christmas” in 2021.
