Keith Urban Gifts Ellen A Vintage Guitar
May 18, 2022 11:00 amKeith Urban was on recently on the “Ellen DeGeneres Show”, and it got pretty emotional.
It was his 20th appearance, and as you may know, the show is coming to an end next week.
Ellen had a request. She asked him to sing a song, so he did “Blue Ain’t Your Color”.
He even referenced her a couple of times in the song. And when he was done, he GAVE her a vintage guitar.
“This is a 1960 Gibson Les Paul Jr. that I’ve had for a long time, and it’s on a lot of records. This is a gift to you from me, because this is my 20th time on the show, which is unbelievable.”
There was another surprise.
He wrote a letter to her ON the guitar, and she read it out loud. Here’s what it said:
Tags: Ellen, Keith Urban, The Ellen DeGeneres Show“Dearest darling Ellen, you’ve been a believer in me and my music since 2004 when I first came on your show. I’m deeply grateful for all the years, laughs, weird-a** cologne commercials and your passion and support. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I wish you love and light on your journey ahead. Your friend always, Keith Urban.”
