George Strait Continues To Set Attendance Records
June 19, 2023 5:55 amGeorge Strait’s show on Saturday, June 17th at Lumen Field, home of the Seattle Seahawks, set a new concert attendance record.
The event, which also featured Chris Stapleton and Little Big Town, drew 59,142 people to the venue.
This weekend’s show marked the first time George played in Tacoma on his Cowboy Rides Away Tour on April 12, 2014. The “King of Country Music” treated fans to a 31-song set.
Included in that set was a duet with Chris Stapleton of “Pancho and Lefty” followed by two songs Chris wrote for George — “You Don’t Know What You’re Missing” and “Love’s Gonna Make It Alright.”
George’s upcoming stadium shows include stops in Nashville, Tennessee on July 28th & 29th and Tampa, Florida on August 5th.
