Luke Combs Reveals Name Of Nashville Bar
February 2, 2024 8:45 amLuke Combs’ new Nashville bar opens later this year, and now it’s got a name.
He’s partnering with Opry Entertainment Group, and they’re calling it “Category 10”, inspired by his first #1 hit, “Hurricane”.
In the hit song, he name-checks “Category 5” but Luke posted a video and said Cat 5 is the biggest, so they figured why not double it?
It’ll be in the same space as the old Wildhorse Saloon that just closed down this month.
They’re planning to open it in stages. First this summer, and then fully open by the end of the year.
And in other Luke news, he’s been talking about how he’d LOVE to connect with Tracy Chapman, especially after the success of “Fast Car”, which she originally released 35 YEARS ago.
She’s been gracious about the cover, but she’s stayed out of the spotlight and hasn’t performed in public in YEARS. But that could change.
There’s a rumour that Tracy will be performing “Fast Car” with Luke at the Grammys on Sunday.
There’s no official word from the Recording Academy, but multiple “sources” are saying that it’s happening.
