Beyonce Breaks Spotify Record With New Album
April 1, 2024 8:45 amBeyonce’s Cowboy Carter album has already broken a Spotify record for the most-streamed album in a single day in 2024.
Spotify announced the news on Friday, March 29th, the day the album was released.

According to Billboard, this is also the first country album to accomplish this feat this year.
Before the album arrived, “Texas Hold ’Em” had been streamed 200 million times.
Meanwhile, a woman named Linda Martell appears on two songs on Beyoncé’s new album.
One is called “Spaghetti”, and the other is actually named after her: “The Linda Martell Show”. So, who is she?
She’s a groundbreaking black female country artist who saw her biggest success in the late ’60s and early ’70s, including a dozen appearances at the Grand Old Opry.
Because of problems caused by racism in the genre and a shady producer, she’s mostly been forgotten.
She’s 82 now, and thanks to Beyoncé, maybe she’ll finally get the recognition she deserves.
