Jelly Roll Says Marijuana Has Kept Him Sober

He said in a new interview with Taste of Country that if he didn’t smoke pot, he’d still be doing harder stuff.
“This is a hot button topic, but truly, marijuana has kept me sober.”
He said he occasionally has a drink too, but only “a couple times this year.”
He said he drank after the CMTs, ACMs, and iHeartRadio Music Awards.
He definitely smokes a lot more than that though, he said he even did DURING his first 5K earlier this month.
He added that he knows a lot of people in recovery who are against any kind of mind-altering substances though, and he has a ton of respect for them.
