The annual charity event, ‘Toby Keith & Friends Golf Classic,’ is celebrating its 20th anniversary, and returning to Norman, Oklahoma from May 31–June 1.

This will be a bittersweet event, occurring for the first time since Keith passed away.

But the country legend had immense pride in the work he did to benefit OK Kids Korral, a cost-free home for families of children dealing with critical illnesses. Last year he said of the home.

“[OK Kids Korral is] my best gift I’ve ever given to the world. One of the first things I thought of when I got cancer was who’s gonna take care of the Korral? Who will carry that torch?”

Eli Young Band and the Bottom of the Barrel will perform at the dinner and auction on May 31 at Riverwind Casino.

University of Oklahoma football coach Bob Stoops will emcee the event with Jim West, while Gene McKown will serve as auctioneer.

The golf outing is on June 1 at Belmar Golf Club.
