What Will Be The Country Song Of The Summer?
June 19, 2024 5:55 amSchool is winding down and it’s getting hotter out, which can mean only one thing… summer is almost upon us!
So, we need to lock down a summer playlist ASAP.
The team over at “The Boot” asked their readers “What’s your vote for song of the summer?”
Here’s the list of all of the contenders for song of the summer so far:
1. “I Had Some Help” by Post Malone and Morgan Wallen.
2. “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” by Shaboozey.
3. “Chevrolet” by Dustin Lynch featuring Jelly Roll. This song borrows its melody from Dobie Grey’s “Drift Away” from 1972. Or if you’re a big Uncle Kracker fan, here’s his version.
4. “I Can’t” by Reba McEntire.
5. Any song by Toby Keith. You could just play “Should Have Been a Cowboy” on repeat. We wouldn’t judge.
