Blake Shelton Signs With New Record Label
September 28, 2024 7:00 amEarlier this month, Blake Shelton left Warner Music Nashville, his record label home since the start of his career back in the early 2000s.
On Tuesday, September 24, the country superstar announced he’s signed with BMG/BBR Music Group.
“A huge thanks to the BMG family for being as excited as me about this new chapter we will write together. I felt their passion and love for music when I met with them, and I knew I was home.”
BMG’s president of frontline recordings for the Americas, Jon Loba, says Shelton is “laser-focused” while working on new music that will eventually be released by his new label home, which had employees of BMG dancing in the office after they heard it.
