“Billboard’s” Names Top 100 Country Singers Of All Time
November 28, 2024 10:30 am“Billboard” just put out a list of the Top 100 Country Singers of All Time, and a lot of fans are not happy.
The artists at the top have clearly earned their spot. Dolly Parton is #1, followed by Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Loretta Lynn, and Hank Williams, Sr.
But the artist who placed #41 on the all-time list is angering a lot of folks… Taylor Swift.
Here’s a couple notable names who got beat out by T Swift…
Brooks & Dunn was #46 . . . Tim McGraw #52 . . . Luke Combs #54 . . . Hank Williams Jr. #57 . . . and Toby Keith #65.
Do you think Taylor Swift is a better country singer than Hank Williams Jr.? Or, Toby Keith? It has certainly caused a lot of heated debate.
In addition to that, Jason Aldean didn’t even make it into the Top 100, which didn’t sit well his wife, Brittany.
“This is a prime example of Jason being left out of things in the industry. Billboard your wokeness obviously overrides your ability to give credit where it’s due, and it’s sad.”
One thing is for sure, putting out an all-time list sure is a great way to stir engagement, and cause controversy.
