Thomas Rhett Trying Not To Miss His Daughters Growing Up

The first couple of weeks of November are always a busy time in Thomas Rhett’s household for birthdays.

His oldest daughter Willa just turned nine on November 1st, Thomas’ wife Lauren celebrated her birthday on November 9th, and his youngest daughter Lillie will celebrate her third birthday this Friday, November 15th.

Thomas says his oldest and youngest daughters’ birthdays remind him how quickly all of his girls are growing up.

“I think as your kids turn into that like 9 -10 region, I think what hit me the other day was like I can’t believe I’ve been a dad for nine years, cause it does not feel that long. And then watching your baby, that’s always been the baby, now not be so much of a baby, it’s like, man, we’re really doing it. Like these kids are really growing and they’re really going to school and they’re really playing sports. And I think if you’re not careful it will pass you by. So, I’ve had to do a really, really intentional work on like being very, very, very present because otherwise, you kind of miss it happen right before your eyes. So, I’m starting to feel the weight, definitely, of my kids getting older and it’s wild.”
