Beyonce Wins Grammy For Best Country Album
February 3, 2025 5:45 amThe Grammys were on last night and were filled with some amazing performances, and a bit of shock for some country fans.
Mostly because Beyoncé dominated the country section of the awards, even though she said that “Cowboy Carter” was NOT a country album. Well, the Grammys seem to disagree with her on that one.

But to be fair, Beyoncé also won ALBUM OF THE YEAR for “Cowboy Carter” as well. So, she kinda had to win the Best Country Album, right?

Beyoncé and Miley Cyrus won the award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance, too. And a lot of fans also did NOT like the fact that they beat out Morgan Wallen and Post Malone.
Here are the Grammy results in Country’s top four categories:
1. Best Country Song goes to . . . “The Architect” by Kacey Musgraves.
2. Best Country Album goes to . . . “Cowboy Carter” by Beyoncé. When Beyoncé was accepting the award, she said, quote, “I think genre is a code word to keep us in our place as artists.”
3. Best Country Solo Performance goes to . . . Chris Stapleton with “It Takes a Woman”.
4. Best Country Duo/Group Performance goes to . . . Beyoncé and Miley Cyrus with “II Most Wanted”.
Shaboozey was also up for Best New Artist, but the award went to Chappell Roan.
