Morgan Wallen’s Bat Flip Hits Jose Bautista’s Wife

Morgan Wallen walked out with former Blue Jays slugger José Bautista at his Toronto show.

José is known for his legendary 2015 ALDS bat flip after he hit a monster homerun, so Morgan wanted to imitate it and tried a bat flip of his own while heading through the stadium tunnel.

From the crowd’s perspective, it looked perfect, but the backstage video told a different story.

As Morgan launched the bat, it flew directly toward José’s wife, Neisha, who was filming.

The clip shows her getting clipped by the bat as she gasps and drops her phone.

Luckily, Neisha assured everyone she was fine.

And José laughed it off in an interview, admitting he encouraged Morgan to try the flip in the first place.

“Funny enough, my wife ended up getting hit by the bat. But she’s completely fine. It was a complete accident and she’s totally okay.”

Morgan’s “I’m the Problem” Tour heads to Edmonton next. Hopefully, he leaves all of the sporting equipment at home.
