
Texas Tech Buddies Turn Their Friend’s Arrest Into A Viral Song

Their roommates were the two Texas Tech students who got arrested after storming the field during the weather-delayed game against Oregon State.

And while their roommates were in jail, Slade and Cade did the smartest thing they could do… they wrote a song about it.
It’s called “Rush the Jones,” and it quickly racked up close to a million views on TikTok.
It’s sung in a Johnny Cash-style, which is perfect for the video of their buddy getting tackled by cops trying to escape the field.

And now there’s an update: the roommates are out of jail, they’re about to put the song on Spotify, and t-shirts are on the way.
