Miley Cyrus Shares Update On Godmother Dolly Parton

Miley Cyrus just gave a reassuring update on her godmother Dolly Parton.

Dolly has had a few health challenges this year and has stepped away from the limelight a bit.

Miley said, “She’s always gonna keep the show going.” And then she said that Dolly’s excited to get back to work and living by that “show must go on” spirit.

Earlier this fall, Dolly missed a Dollywood event and explained in a video that a kidney stone led to an infection and kept her off the road. She later had to postpone several Las Vegas shows, saying her doctors wanted her to have a few procedures.

But Dolly has reassured fans she wasn’t quitting anything, she’s just slowing down so she can be ready for the next big adventure.

A source close to her recently said Dolly is getting better every day.
