Parmalee’s “Cowgirl” Hits #1 For Fourth Week
January 8, 2026 7:02 amParmalee‘s “Cowgirl” holds the top spot on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart for a fourth consecutive week, marking the longest-running No. 1 by a country group in nearly 14 years.
“Cowgirl” represents the first four-week chart leader by a group since Zac Brown Band‘s “Keep Me in Mind” in 2011-12. Extended radio runs by country groups remain uncommon, with “Cowgirl” now tied for the fifth-longest reign among bands since the Country Airplay chart launched in 1990.
Lady A previously ruled the chart for five weeks with “Need You Now” in 2009, while Lonestar leads all groups with the eight-week reign of “Amazed” back in 1999.
