Rascal Flatts Doesn’t Miss Some Past Jobs

Rascal Flatts know they have the best jobs in the world, because even the worst day in music beats the best day in some of their previous jobs. 

But what was the one job that Gary, Jay and Joe Don think about that makes them so grateful to know they will never have to do it again..

Gary LeVox – “God, it’s probably cleaning horse stalls.”

Jay DeMarcus – “Making dough in the pizza shop I worked at, in that hot kitchen back there. It had the dough machine. You had to knead it through and make sure it got thinner and thinner and then spread it out on the pan. Put the flower down … it was horrible.”

Joe Don Rooney – “I was cleaning floors as I was going to college.  That was not fun. I’d have the next day off, but I’d work from midnight to like 6am, and I do not miss that.”
