Country Stars Featured On Posthumous Dan Seals Duet Album
February 1, 2026 7:00 amA new album featuring duets with the late country star Dan Seals will be released on August 28 by Melody Place Records and the Dan Seals Estate.
Dan Seals & Friends: The Last Duet pairs Seals’ original vocals with current artists, including Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, Alabama, Jamey Johnson, Marie Osmond, and Tanya Tucker.
Producer Kyle Lehning used digital technology to extract Seals’ recordings and add new duet partners. Four songs have already been released, including “Everything That Glitters (Is Not Gold)” with Bryan.
Bryan said of the modern collaboration…
“When I think of all time iconic songs, this one definitely comes top of mind. “an was an artist I had on repeat and actually still do.”
The 16-track collection features Seals’ biggest hits from his solo country career and his pop duo England Dan & John Ford Coley, including a 50th-anniversary edition of “I’d Really Love to See You Tonight,” which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1976, featuring new vocals recorded by Coley.
Seals died in 2009 after achieving 11 No. 1 hits on Billboard’s Country Songs chart.
