ACM Awards Announces First Performers

Cody Johnson, Lainey Wilson, and Riley Green will headline the 61st Academy of Country Music Awards at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on May 17th.

The show streams on Prime Video, Amazon’s Twitch channel, and the Amazon Music app at 8 p.m.

Johnson returns after winning Song of the Year for “Dirt Cheap” in 2025.

Wilson will debut her new song “Can’t Sit Still” during the ceremony.

Green performs his gold-certified crossover hit “Change My Mind.”

Additional Vegas events include Green’s “Country on the Green” concert at Topgolf on May 15th and “Country’s Beach Bash” at Mandalay Bay Beach on May 16th.

Academy CEO Damon Whiteside called returning to MGM Grand “a homecoming.”
