Marines To The Rescue

A woman was recently rescued from a flash flood outside Arlington National Cemetery by U.S. Marines who showed up 45 seconds after she prayed for help to be saved.

Virginia Waller-Torres reunited last week with Corporals Mitchell Wojtowicz and Jared Tosner, who are members of a unit that performs funeral services at the national cemetery, to express her gratitude.

She also shared that her Grandfather served in WW2 and is buried at Arlington National Cemetery plus her father served in the Gulf War and always had “such respect” for the Marines, saying, “I sent him the video [of the rescue], and he called me back, and he started crying. Because it was so emotional for him.”
