Beards, Lottery Wins, And An Eight-Year-Old Hero

  1. A sheriff in Louisiana let his deputies grow out their beardsto raise money for No Shave November.  They’re usually not allowed to have beards, and had to pay $25 a month if they wanted to do it.  It ended up raising $4,000 for charity.  So now he’s keeping it going for all of 2022, and letting them keep their beards for $20 a month.

 

  1. Here’s some ANNOYING good news:  A guy in Pennsylvania just hit the lotteryfor a million bucks, and it’s the FOURTH time he’s won.  He also won a hundred grand in 1999 . . . $3 MILLION dollars in 2016 . . . and another half-million just last year.

 

  1. Clayton, an 8-year-old in Ottawa, is getting praise for finding an elderly manwho had fallen in the snow and couldn’t get up.  He got his parents and a cup of hot chocolate for the man who was checked out by paramedics and decided not to go to the hospital.  Here is the boy’s father Joey McGuire praising his son.
