Visesio Salt Jr. was an offensive guard for Mount San Antonio college in Walnut, California when the football team won its second consecutive national title in 2010.

Salt was so proud and thankful for his father’s support that he gave the championship ring they received to him as a gift.

Unfortunately, the ring  was misplaced and it wasn’t recovered until recently, 11 years later, by an Oregon clean-up crew that found it on a highway.

The Oregon State Police said in an Instagram post, “The trooper was later able to contact Mr. Salt and give him the good news about finding the lost ring. Congratulations were also given on the Utes winning the PAC 12 Championship.”
