- A woman named Karissa Shaffer decided to celebrate her 70th birthday at Disney World. So her entire family surprised her WHILE she was there.
She was posing for a picture with three grandkids when the rest of her family . . . about 15 people . . . snuck up from behind and posed WITH them. There’s video of it, and she doesn’t realize at first. But once she does, she starts screaming . . . then crying.
- A group of firefighters in Illinois delivered a baby during a BLIZZARD in the middle of a Jimmy John’s parking lot last week. The woman and her husband were heading to the hospital but didn’t make it. Their new daughter is doing great, and so is Mom.
- A crossing guard in Cecil County, Maryland, is being hailed as a hero after pushing a young student out of the way of an oncoming car, putting her own life at risk to save the child. Crossing guard Annette Goodyear, who is also a police officer, was treated at a hospital after being struck, according to Cecil County Public Schools. Goodyear was helping a middle school student cross the street Friday morning, officials said. She gave a “stop” signal with her hand as a child began to enter the crosswalk. Video of the incident shows a car coming at a fast rate of speed. Goodyear grabbed the child by the shoulders and pushed her forward, out of the car’s path.
