1. A 101-year-old named Thomas Adams Jr. lives in Mississippi, and served in World War Two, Korea, AND Vietnam. And he just got promoted 56 years after he retired. He was about to become a major when he left the Air Force in 1966. But they just decided to promote him anyway, and did a ceremony at his house.

2. A 100-year-old runner named Lester Wright broke a world record in Philadelphia on Saturday, by doing the 100-meter dash in 26.34 seconds. The previous record of 26.99 seconds had stood for seven years.

3. A former nurse in Florida who worked on the front lines in World War Two just went skydiving for her 100th birthday. She says she’d done lots of things in her life, but never that. So she went for it, but wouldn’t do it again.
