Lost Dogs And A Lost Ring

  1. Paula and Peter Closier became concerned when their 5-year-old beagle-mix, Bonnie, disappeared from their home in Bolney, UK.  Little did they know that she was busy – winning a ribbon at a local dog show.

After she escaped, Bonnie, who had been adopted as a stray 4 years ago, was found on the side of the road by John Wilmer, who happened to be driving his own 2 pups to a dog show. After posting her picture on Facebook, he decided to take her along to the contest. Bonnie was a hit with the judges, and ended up winning third place in the rescue dog class.

Of course, while Bonnie was winning ribbons, her family was frantically looking for her, and Bonnie was returned after the Closiers saw Wilbur’s Facebook post. The kicker? Bonnie’s step-sibling doggo, Cleo, has won prizes at a number of dog shows, but the Closiers had never thought to enter Bonnie in one.

  1. A woman in Alabama just got her class ring back  53 YEARS after she lost it in a lake.  It slipped off her finger while she was swimming in 1969.  Someone found it while fishing and tracked down her son to give it back.
